Authentic Assessment has many uses in child care settings. Authentic assessment can inform our knowledge about children through the use of observation, use of video & conversations with families.  Through this shared discovery, child care providers can learn specifics about the child's "Who, What & How" questions. Let's join together to consider how Authentic Assessment can assist us in intervention planning, assessing if our interventions are working & whether further evaluation is warranted.
