Description. 

In this two-session training, participants will explore the essential role of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) in creating nurturing environments for both educators and children. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of the neurobiology of the brain, emphasizing how the adult and the child’s socio-emotional development are interconnected. Focusing and reflecting on the five core SEL competencies, participants will learn how to apply them in their own roles, fostering a supportive and emotionally focused environment. This foundation will not only enhance their well-being but also empower the children they care for to develop and strengthen their own socio-emotional skills, setting the stage for lifelong success.
