Connecting Screening Results to Curriculum -- Individualizing with ASQ-3 Learning Activities

with Lynn Barts

Free

Description.

Screening in early childhood developmental settings can enhance partnerships with families and provide information about each child’s development and their approaches to learning. This workshop will offer opportunities for practice interpreting and individualizing based on the results of the Ages & Stages Questionnaire 3 (ASQ-3) and our conversations with families. Our time will include opportunities to consider a variety of circumstances that may impact a child’s scores and their journey in development. We will use the ASQ-3 Learning Activities as an idea to consider when planning for your setting. We will create an action plan and consider next steps for continued practice. Appropriate for EVERYONE who is on the journey of providing developmental screenings. It will be an opportunity to learn and reflect on your current process as well as sharing your stories with those who are just beginning to implement the ASQ-3.
