Understanding human attachment is essential for childcare providers to help support the children in their program. Children can develop and grow with the support of childcare providers who implement healthy attachment regulations within their program. This training will give an overview of the theory of attachment and how it is viewed in various cultures and family dynamics. Childcare providers will learn the different attachment styles, which will give them an objective lens with meeting the children’s needs. As well this training will demonstrate methods of promoting healthy attachment in their program.
