This training is for caregivers who want to be inclusive in their programs, integrating children with special needs with typically developing children. We will define Inclusion and look at the history of Special Ed and Inclusion. We will discuss ways to support both groups of children. We want to provide a positive experience for all the children.

This 3-session series offers an in-depth, practice-focused exploration of the three steps of the Powerful Interactions framework. Designed for educators with prior experience in trauma-informed practice, neurodiversity-affirming approaches, and reflective work, the training supports participants in strengthening the adult–child relationship as the foundation for learning, safety, and individualized support. Through guided reflection, mini-lectures, and applied practice, participants will examine how presence, connection, and intentional scaffolding shape children’s emotional wellbeing, regulation, and curiosity. Each session builds on the previous one, allowing educators to integrate the steps into daily interactions with authenticity, sensitivity, and confidence.

Los participantes recibirán información acerca de cómo preparar las reuniones, vincular a los padres de una manera positiva, y fomentar la integración de los padres en la educación de sus hijos.
