Calendar May 7, 2026 at 6:30 pm

Description.

Experiences young children receive in the first five years of life are so important to brain development, as research shows about 90% of a child’s brain is developed during this time. Development of the brain is influenced by many factors, including a child’s relationships, experiences and environment. Learn about the important role you play in building a young child’s brain and what you can do as a teacher and/or child care provider to best support a child’s healthy development and growing brain.
